SUNDAY FAMILY DINNER TRAINS

Each and every Sunday, the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train offers its popular “Sunday Family Dinner Train” providing guests with a special two-hour Sunday afternoon dining and train ride experience. Departing at 1:30 p.m. and returning at 3:30 p.m., this train offers a three-course fresh prepared onboard meal while traveling by train to scenic Woodpecker Lake and return to Walled Lake. Adult entrée choices include traditional Sunday favorites, roast beef, ham, chicken, and a vegetarian pasta primavera. The children’s meal includes baked chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, vegetable, salad and dessert. A live musical or theatrical show is also included for your dining enjoyment. Dress is Sunday casual and pre-boarding is available beginning at 12:30pm. Cost excluding tips and bar is $54 for Adults, $29 Children (12 and under) and Toddlers age 2 and below are FREE, although no toddler meal is provided. FEBRUARY 23rd – “MUSICAL PRINCESS LUNCH TRAIN” – Departs at Noon: Enjoy a two-hour train ride with a special lunch and a visit and sing-a-long with your favorite princess characters! “A Chance For All Little Girls to be……The Princess We all Believe Them To Be!”. Onboard our “Musical Princess Lunch Train”, your little princess will have a chance to visit with her favorite princess characters! Enjoy their musical performance and dream that you might be chosen to be one of their “Ladies In Waiting!” Chosen or not, all children will have the opportunity to participate in this interactive musical performance on board “The Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train. Wear your favorite princess dress and sing-a-long to the familiar princess tunes. Mom’s, bring your daughters. Grandmother’s, bring your granddaughters. Aunts, bring your nieces. Dad’s, use this train to make a special Daddy-Daughter day! Bring your very own precious princess and don’t miss this fantasy filled experience. BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY, March 8th, 15th & 22nd, Departing at 10 a.m.: Join us for a special children’s breakfast train, boarding at 9:15am, departing 10:00am. Visit with Farmer McGregor and his friends as they lead your family in a sing-along celebration of the season while enjoying a two-hour train ride and breakfast. Meet the Easter Bunny onboard our special train as Farmer McGregor brings him to each table to meet your family. We will also feature a story reading from a famous Beatrix Potter tale and offering coloring and other activities to enhance your special train ride. $35 Adult, $29 Children, $10 Toddler (No Toddler Meal Provided)
COTTONTAIL EXPRESS, March 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, & 22nd, Departing at 2 p.m.: Now in its 24th Year of Operation! Enjoy a one-hour train ride onboard the Walled Lake Scenic Railway’s historic 1920 passenger train and its famous “Cottontail Express”. Boarding begins at 1:30pm with a 2:00pm departure. Guests will visit with Farmer McGregor and his friends as they lead your family in a sing-along celebration of the season and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny! Snacks and beverages are available in our Concession Car for an additional cost. $15 All Guests, Over Three Years Old and $10 Toddlers.

Sunday “WALLED LAKE EXPRESS TRAINS” – NEW FOR 1st Quarter 2008!

Our vintage 1917 excursion trains will return in late March, but in the meantime, visit us each Sunday for a scenic two hour train ride to Woodpecker Lake and return onboard our fully climate controlled Vista Cavern observation car from the famous Santa Fe Super Chief train. Snacks, beverages and full bar service is available at an additional charge. Train departs at 1:30pm with boarding at 1:00pm, returning at 3:30pm. Experience a truly historic train ride aboard this famous railcar! $25 Adults, $20 Children, $10 Toddlers.

Reservations Are Required On All Meal Service Trains.
