Make Her Mother’s Day Special

Join us Sunday, May 11th for one of our three Mother’s Day Trains! Treat that special mother in your life to a either a two-hour dinner train or to a one hour scenic train ride.

MOTHER’S DAY SUNDAY DINNER TRAINS
Departing at 1:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.

Enjoy a two-hour train dinner train ride with a three-course meal and live entertainment onboard the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train. Entrée selections include traditional Sunday family favorites roast beef, baked chicken or baked ham.

Choose between two great Star Clipper Mother’s Day shows, “Mother’s Day Comedy Murder Mystery Show” or “Mother’s Day Musical Entertainment featuring our own SAXMAN”. Bring the whole family and present Mom with your special gift. Dress is Sunday casual.

The afternoon dinner train departs 1:30 p.m. with boarding beginning at 12:30 p.m. The evening dinner train departs 6:30 p.m. with boarding beginning 5:30 p.m. Both trains are two hours in duration and guests need to be onboard 30 minutes prior to departure. Cost, excluding gratuity and bar is $54 for Adults, $29 Children (12 and under) and Toddlers age 2 and under are $10, although no meal is provided. This is a truly unique dining experience and one that will be an unforgettable day for Mom! These trains will sell out, make your reservations today.

WALLED LAKE SCENIC RAILWAY’S “MOTHER’S DAY EXPRESS TRAIN”
Departing at 2 p.m.

Visit us Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11th, for a scenic one hour train ride, departing from our historic 1887 Walled Lake Depot where we will take the whole family through some scenic Oakland County countryside, not easily seen from the roads. Relive passenger train travel onboard our historic 1917 coaches and other cars, each of which carry a unique story.

Train departs at 2 p.m. with boarding at 1:30 p.m. Snacks are available in our special concession car along with some interesting things to see about the history of trains. Come early and see the departure of our Sunday Family Dinner Train, prior to boarding.

A Family Game is offered, “Quest For The Golden Spike”. Tickets are $15 for all passengers 3-years and up, $10 for toddlers.

For that special mother on any of our three trains, show her you love her with our 2008 Mother’s Day Package. Have waiting at her table a spring flowering geranium in an attractive pot with a card.
