Make His Father’s Day Special

Join us Sunday, June 15th for one of our two Father’s Day Trains! Treat that special father in your life to either a scenic two-hour dinner train or to a one-hour excursion train ride.

FATHER’S DAY SUNDAY DINNER TRAIN
Departs at 1:30 p.m.

Enjoy a two-hour train dinner train ride with a three course meal and live entertainment ONBOARD the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train. Entrée selections include traditional Sunday family favorites roast beef, baked chicken or baked ham. Choose between two great Star Clipper Father’s Day shows, “Father’s Day Comedy Murder Mystery Show” or “Father’s Day Musical Entertainment Featuring Our Own SAXMAN”. Bring the whole family and present Dad with your special gift. Dress is Sunday casual. The dinner train departs 1:30pm with boarding beginning at 12:30. The train is two hours in duration and guests need to be onboard 30 minutes prior to departure. Tickets, excluding gratuity and bar are $54 for adults, $29 for children (12 and under) and toddlers age 2 and under are $10, although no meal is provided. This is a truly unique dining experience and one that will be an unforgettable day for Dad! These trains will sell out, make your reservations today.

WALLED LAKE SCENIC RAILWAY’S “FATHER’S DAY EXPRESS TRAIN”
Departing at 2 p.m.

Visit us Father’s Day, Sunday June 15th, for a scenic one hour train ride, departing from our historic 1887 Walled Lake Depot where we will take the whole family through some scenic Oakland County countryside, not easily seen from the roads. Relive passenger train travel onboard our historic 1917 coaches and other cars, each of which carry a unique story. Train departs at 2:00 pm with boarding at 1:30 pm. Snacks are available in our special concession car along with some interesting things to see about the history of trains. Come early and see the departure of our Sunday Family Dinner Train, prior to boarding. A Family Game is offered, “Quest For The Golden Spike”. Tickets are $15 for all passengers, 3 years old and above and $10 for toddlers.

2008 FATHER’S DAY ONBOARD CONTEST, FOR ALL DAD’S ONBOARD!

Each dad traveling onboard one of our Father’s Day trains 06/15/08 and accompanied with any age son or daughter, will have the chance to win a special “RAILROAD” package. Train Travel’s “Father’s Day Railroad Contest” will be held in each railcar and dad must have his thinking cap on working with his child/children in order to qualify for the drawing. One drawing per railcar. It will be a great time and a great prize, our special “Father’s Day Railroad Contest”.
