The Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train is delighted to add to their growing list of outstanding musical vocalists, “The Stubbs Girls.” Sheila “Stubbs” Taylor and Thelma “Stubbs” Mitchell are the niece and sister of the famous Levi Stubbs of the “Fabulous Four Tops.” Star performers both nationally and locally these two powerhouses will set our railcars on fire with excitement.

This memorable evening includes selections from a myriad of some of our best known musical eras. From the soulful “Crazy” to a tribute to the 60’s sound of Motown and a 70’s look back to the disco-era is reason enough to ride with us. “But, Wait,” there’s more.Sheila and Thelma perform a knock-out medley of the currently popular “Dreamgirls that is as good as if not better than the real thing. These two performers are definitely a dream come true and here on our dinner train is the only place you can get it.

These two artists share their musical talents and repertoire with audiences both young and old alike. We guarantee you just won’t be able to sit still. They are engaging, warm and dynamic. A Duo not to be missed.

“The Stubbs Girls” have opened for such acts like Grover Washington Junior, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and the legendary “Satchmo.” Growing up in the presence of Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wnder, Marvin Gaye and The Super Super Supremes have had a definite affect on their singing styles and philosophy.
