Friday & Saturday Evenings June 2008

Only onboard the Michigan Star Clipper’s “Super Summer Dinner Train”, can you enjoy a four-course meal prepared onboard while experiencing a scenic 2-1/2 hour train ride and live tableside entertainment. Both Murder Mysteries and Musical Performances are offered nightly! Train Departs at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays & 7 p.m. on Saturdays, with boarding beginning one hour earlier (please be onboard 30 minutes prior to departure). Both evenings our Kentucky Thoroughbred Lounge Car opens at 5:30 pm.

Entrée choices for these special summer trains includes either a “Chilian Sea Bass”, “Chicken Cordon Bleu” or our signature “Star Clipper Prime Rib”. This four-course meal also features the “Star Clipper House Salad”, the “Star Clipper Vegetable Cheese Pâté & Crustini”, all topped off with a deliciously prepared “Star Clipper Dessert.” All of our dinners include bread baskets with our chef’s specialty honey butter, fresh brewed coffee, tea, and water.

Tickets for the four-course dinner, live tableside entertainment and train excursion are $79 per person, with bar & gratuity additional. Try our signature drinks and premium martinis.

Don’t forget to ask about our “Overnight Accommodations!”
Retire to a railroad sleeping car and enjoy a freshly made breakfast the next morning. This option is only available on Saturday evenings and space is limited.

June – Each Friday Night’s Theatrical Performance: “Murder on the Star Clipper”, our signature interactive murder mystery performance! Come see if you can answer the question, “Who Committed the Murder on the Star Clipper?”
June – Each Friday Night’s Musical Performance!: “The Stubbs Girls”, our best Vegas-Style Top 40’s and “MOTOWN” Show! Performed by family members of “Levi Stubbs” of the Fabulous Four Tops Fame!
June – Each Saturday Night’s Theatrical Performance: “Murder Madness”, Michigan’s longest running interactive comedy murder mystery show. Get involved and help solve a murder on the train. It’s a Stitch!
June - Every Saturday Night’s Musical Performance!: “Broadway Jazz”, a signature show highlighting the BEST of Broadway, produced by Theater Arts Productions!

Sunday Family Dinner Trains (Very Popular)

Sundays, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th

These trains provide guests and families with a two-hour afternoon dinner train experience with live tableside entertainment and a three-course chef prepared onboard meal, while traveling by train to scenic Woodpecker Lake and return. Adult Entrée choices include traditional Sunday favorites, roast beef, ham, chicken and a vegetarian pasta primavera. A special Children’s menu includes baked chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese with vegetable, salad and dessert. Dress is Sunday casual and pre-boarding is available beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a 1:30 p.m. departure. Tickets are $54 for adults, $29 for children (12 and under) and toddlers age 2 and under are FREE (No meal provided). Tips and bar is not included. Experience the Star Clipper Sunday afternoons on this truly unique dining experience.

Father’s Day Train Departures, 1:30 p.m. & 2 p.m.: Book today for this annual sell out train and treat Dad to a two-hour dinner train or a one-hour excursion train.
