Fridays, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th – FRIDAY NIGHT “TRIBUTE” DINNER TRAINS

Enjoy a two-hour scenic train ride with a three-course, onboard chef prepared meal and live tableside entertainment! Tickets are $69 per person, bar and gratuity additional. Enjoy one of our specialty three-course dinners, not offered on other Star Clipper trains with entrées Shrimp Étouffée & Chicken Cordon Bleu. A vegetarian entrée is also available. Our Friday Night “Tribute” Trains depart at 7:30 p.m., with boarding beginning at 6:30 p.m. Come as early as 6 p.m. and enjoy our Kentucky Thoroughbred Lounge Car. 2nd, 16th, 23rd – “Murder on the Star Clipper”, our signature murder mystery show! Come see if you can answer the question, “Who Committed the Murder on the Star Clipper?”
9th – “Special Mother’s Day Murder Madness” – We won’t throw Momma from the train but it will be a whole lot of fun! A Mother’s Day version of our most popular murder mystery show!
30th – “Who Shot The Sheriff?” – Our ever popular country murder mystery and musical.

Saturdays, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st – FAMOUS PREMIUM STAR CLIPPER DINNER TRAINS

Only onboard the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train can you enjoy a five course meal prepared onboard while enjoying a scenic three-hour train ride with live tableside entertainment with both Murder Mysteries and other theatrical and musical performances to choose from! Departure at 7 p.m. with our Kentucky Thoroughbred lounge opened at 5:30 p.m. Overnight accommodations in our railroad sleeping car with breakfast the next morning is also available. Saturday’s Entrée choices include “Chilean Sea Bass”, “Cornish Hen ala Orange” and our signature “Star Clipper Prime Rib”. Our five-course meals also feature the Star Clipper’s specialty vegetable cheese pâté and crouton baked crackers, one of our signature hearty soups, a fresh garden salad with the night’s house dressing, and a freshly made dessert. All of our dinners include breadbaskets with our chef’s specialty honey butter, fresh brewed coffee, tea, and water. Tickets are $89 per person with bar and gratuity additional.

Sundays, 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th – SUNDAY FAMILY DINNER TRAINS (Very Popular)

These trains provide guests and families with a two-hour afternoon dinner train experience with live tableside entertainment and a three-course chef prepared onboard meal, while traveling by train to scenic Woodpecker Lake and return. Adult Entrée choices include traditional Sunday favorites, roast beef, ham, chicken and a vegetarian pasta primavera. A special Children’s menu includes baked chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese with vegetable, salad and dessert. Dress is Sunday casual and pre-boarding is available beginning at noon in our new Kentucky Thoroughbred Lounge Car with the meal served in our Michigan Spruce dining car. Tickets are $54 for adults, $29 for children (12 and under) and toddlers age 2 and under are FREE (No meal provided). Tips and bar is not included. Experience the Star Clipper Sunday afternoons on this truly unique dining experience.

May 2008 Luncheon & Family Trains

May 3rd, “Dora & Diego RETURNS!

Join us for a special two-hour children’s lunch train, boarding at 11:15 a.m., departing noon. Visit with Dora and her cousin Diego as we explore scenic Oakland County with music and dancing. Tickets are $39 for adults, $29 for children, and $10 for toddlers (No Toddler Meal Provided).

May 31st, Our First in a Series, “Jazz for Kids Train”!

Join us for the first of our new children’s musical educational lunch train series with Saxophonist and Clarinet great, Mr. George Katsakis, who will both teach and entertain with this interactive experience. You and you child will learn about jazz from one of the last of the “Big Band” era performers. Everyone is encouraged (not mandatory) to bring your own Jazz instrument and George will have you understanding and playing syncopation like the pros. Boarding begins at 11:15 a.m. with a noon departure. Tickets are $39 for Adults, $29 for Children, and $10 for Toddlers (No Meal Provided).
