Fridays, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th – FRIDAY NIGHT “TRIBUTE” DINNER TRAINS

Enjoy a two-hour scenic train ride while enjoying a three-course, onboard chef prepared, meal and live tableside entertainment with both murder mysteries and other theatrical and musical performances! Tickets are $69 per person, bar and gratuity additional. Vegetarian dishes are available on all trains. Enjoy our specialty three-course dinners, not offered on other Star Clipper trains. The Friday Night “Tribute” Dinner Train departs at 7:30 p.m., with boarding beginning at 6:30 p.m. Come as early as 6 p.m. and enjoy our Kentucky Thoroughbred Lounge Car. The tributes for Friday evenings in February are:

1st – “MARDI GRAS PARTY TRAIN”

Celebrate the spirit of New Orleans with the Star Clipper’s Mardis Gras Party Train. We offer two shows this evening. Enjoy Cajun Street Music, Rock & Roll, Free Beads, and more in our musical show, or solve the murder mystery in our new murder mystery show “Mardis Gras Madness”, the “Mardis Gras” version of our most popular murder mystery show! You onboard chef prepared three course Louisiana cuisine includes an entrée choice of Red Beans and Rice with Pork or Chicken Creole. All entrees come with a salad and pecan pie.

8th – “BACK TO BOBBY SOX, Our Musical Tribute to the 50’s & 60’s”

Dress for the period as we pick the “Best Dancers” and the “Best Dressed”!

15th – “Hearts & Roses Musical OR “Valentine Madness”

Celebrate with your special sweetheart onboard the Star Clipper Dinner Train with either a musical or murder mystery show! Special “Sweetheart” packages available.

22nd – Tribute To Lou Rawls & Friends

Bob Allman, “balladeer extraordinaire”, shares his musical talents as he pays a special musical tribute to the great Lou Rawls, Barry White, Marvin Gaye and others! Don’t miss this new Star Clipper show!

29th –“ITALIAN NIGHT ON THE STAR CLIPPER”

Enjoy a two hour scenic train ride while enjoying a special Italian three course meal and participating in the Star Clipper’s acclaimed comedy show, “COMEDY ITALIAN WEDDING”.

MURDER MYSTERY 8th, 22nd, & 29th – “Murder on the Star Clipper”

Offered throughout March on Friday nights. Come see if you can answer the question, “Who Committed the Murder on the Star Clipper?” Have you seen our signature murder mystery show?

 

Unless otherwise noted, all Friday night trains feature our new First Quarter 2008 Entrée choices, “Salmon Vanderbilt” & “Chicken Alfredo”. A Vegetarian entrée is also available. Our three course dinners also feature a fresh garden salad with the night’s house dressing and a freshly made dessert. All of our dinners include breadbaskets with our chef’s specialty honey butter, fresh brewed coffee, tea, and water.

Saturdays, 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd –FAMOUS “PREMIUM” STAR CLIPPER DINNER TRAINS

Only onboard the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train can you enjoy a five course meal prepared onboard while enjoying a scenic three hour train ride with live tableside entertainment with both Murder Mysteries and other theatrical and musical performances! Departure at 7 p.m. with our Kentucky Thoroughbred lounge opened at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $89 per person with bar and gratuity additional. Description of entertainment choices follows:

Musical entertainment choices on Saturdays in February include our “Mardis Gras Party Train” (2nd), “Hearts & Roses Musical (9th & 16th) and our newest show “Tribute to Lou Rawls & Friends” (23rd). Theatrical entertainment choices on Saturdays in February include our murder mystery shows “Mardis Gras Madness” (2nd), Valentine Madness (9th & 16th), and “Murder Madness” (23rd). All trains depart at 7:00pm and return at 10:00pm. Overnight accommodations in our railroad sleeping car with breakfast the next morning is also available. Our Kentucky thoroughbred Lounge Car opens at 5:30pm.

Sundays, 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th – SUNDAY FAMILY SPECIAL (Extremely Popular)

These trains provide our guests and families with a very special two-hour Sunday afternoon dining and train ride experience. Departing at 1:30 p.m. and returning at 3:30 p.m., this train offers a three-course fresh-prepared, onboard meal while traveling by train to scenic Woodpecker Lake. Entrée choices include traditional Sunday favorites, roast beef, ham, and chicken. Live dining music featuring George Katsakis, our own SAXMAN is also included for your enjoyment. Dress is Sunday casual and pre-boarding is available beginning at noon. Cost, excluding tips and bar is $54 for Adults, $29 Children (12 and under) and Toddlers age 2 and under are FREE (No toddler meal provided). Bar and gratuity additional.

Thursday 28th - SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY LUNCHEON - Departs at Noon, $49 Per Person.

Saturday 23rd – PRINCESS LUNCH TRAIN – Departs at Noon

Enjoy a two hour train ride with a special lunch and a visit and sing-a-long with your favorite princess characters! Tickets are $39 for adults and $29 for children

Special February Train

All entrees come with a salad, Cajun gumbo, and pecan pie. $79 per person, bar and gratuity additional. Departure at 7:30 p.m. with our Steel Wheels lounge opened at 3 p.m.
