Reservations are required on all meal service trains. Tickets DO NOT include gratuity or bar. A full description of the menus for our children’s breakfast and lunch trains is available.

Reservations are recommended on all seasonal Walled Lake Scenic Railway trains as seating is provided to guests holding confirmed reservations.

March Family Trains

Sunday “WALLED LAKE EXPRESS TRAINS” – NEW FOR 1st Quarter 2008!

Our vintage 1917 excursion trains will return in late March, but in the meantime, visit us each Sunday for a scenic two hour train ride to Woodpecker Lake and return onboard our fully climate controlled Vista Cavern observation car from the famous Santa Fe Super Chief train. Snacks, beverages and full bar service is available at an additional charge. Train departs at 1:30pm with boarding at 1 p.m., returning at 3:30 p.m. Experience a truly historic train ride aboard this famous railcar! Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for children, and $10 for toddlers.

BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY, March 8th & 22nd, Departing at 10 a.m.

Join us for a special children’s breakfast train, boarding at 9:15am, departing 10:00am. Visit with Farmer McGregor and his friends as they lead your family in a sing-along celebration of the season while enjoying a two-hour train ride and breakfast. Meet the Easter Bunny onboard our special train as Farmer McGregor brings him to each table to meet your family. We will also feature a story reading from a famous Beatrix Potter tale and offering coloring and other activities to enhance your special train ride. Tickets are $35 for adults, $29 for children, and $10 for toddler (No Toddler Meal Provided).

COTTONTAIL EXPRESS, March 9th, 16th, & 22nd, Departing at 2 p.m.

Now in its 24th Year of Operation! Enjoy a one-hour train ride onboard the Walled Lake Scenic Railway’s historic 1920 passenger train and its famous “Cottontail Express”. Boarding begins at 1:30pm with a 2:00pm departure. Guests will visit with Farmer McGregor and his friends as they lead your family in a sing-along celebration of the season and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny! Snacks and beverages are available in our Concession Car for an additional cost. Tickets are $15 for all guests, three and up; $10 for toddlers.

SUNDAY FAMILY DINNER TRAINS

Each Sunday except Easter, the Michigan Star Clipper Dinner Train offers its popular “Sunday Family Dinner Train” providing guests with a special two-hour Sunday afternoon dining and train ride experience. Departing at 1:30 p.m. and returning at 3:30 p.m., this train offers a three-course fresh prepared onboard meal while traveling by train to scenic Woodpecker Lake and return to Walled Lake. Adult entrée choices include traditional Sunday favorites, roast beef, ham, chicken, and a vegetarian pasta primavera. The children’s meal includes baked chicken tenders, macaroni & cheese, vegetable, salad and dessert. A live musical or theatrical show is also included for your dining enjoyment. Dress is Sunday casual and pre-boarding is available beginning at 12:30 p.m. Tickets excluding tips and bar are $54 for Adults, $29 Children (12 and under) and Toddlers two and younger are FREE, although no toddler meal is provided. Experience the Star Clipper Sunday afternoons on this truly unique dining experience.
